To provide you with our machine-learning and financial tracking services, we collect the following:
- Identity & Account Data: Your full name, email address, strictly hashed passwords, and geographical region (to serve correct market data like NSE/NYSE).
- Financial Handling: We use Stripe and Razorpay to process payments. ClearAI never touches, processes, or stores your raw credit card numbers or banking credentials. We only store a subscription token and transaction IDs.
- AI Telemetry & Usage Data: The queries you type into the ClearAI Chatbot, the articles you read, your login timestamps, and your IP address (used primarily to prevent DDoS attacks and rate-limit API spam).
3. How Your Data is Used
We leverage your information exclusively for these core operational purposes:
- To provision your user account, maintain active sessions, and grant Premium feature access.
- To deliver our automated daily newsletters natively via the Resend API infrastructure.
- To train aggregated usage models to understand which stock tickers are most requested by our demographic. Note: Your specific chatbot interactions are not used to train global public LLM models.
- To enforce our terms, monitor affiliate referral payouts, and actively prevent fraudulent chargebacks.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
ClearAI does not and will never sell your personal contact information to third-party marketing agencies or data brokers.
We only share the absolute minimum necessary data with our essential infrastructure partners (e.g., sending your email to 'Resend' to deliver a newsletter, or securely passing your session context to our payment gateways). We may disclose your data if legally compelled by a court order, subpoena, or government investigation.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We utilize secure JSON Web Tokens (JWT) stored in HTTP-only cookies to securely authenticate your ongoing web sessions without exposing credentials to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). We may employ basic analytics trackers to calculate visitor flow, but you can block non-essential cookies via your browser settings without fully breaking the platform.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your legal jurisdiction (including GDPR, CCPA, or the DPDP Act), you possess the right to:
